   "I, Dora Anne (LEONARD) WOODRUFF, was born July 8, 1908, at Monroe Furnace, Jefferson Twp., in Jackson County, Ohio.  My parents were David Harrison LEONARD, born July 29, 1871 and died Sept. 8, 1950; and Annie E. (WILLIAMS) LEONARD, born June 22, 1879 and died Aug. 21, 1975.  They are buried in Moriah Cemetery, Madison Twp., Jackson County, Ohio. . . .
    I was married to Estel WOODRUFF (1905-1937), a son of Ross WOODRUFF (1876-1933) and Anna (BENSON) WOODRUFF (1887-1959).  My husband died with cancer.  We were the parents of one son, Dale, born Aug. 2, 1935.
    Dale was married to Jean WILSON (1937-1987) and they had two daughters: Diana, born Nov. 12, 1957, who is married to Al EISNAUGLE and they have a daughter, Jill, born Nov. 12, 1980, and Debbie, born Oct. 21, 1960 who is married to Daniel EVANS and they have two sons, Mark born June 2, 1983 and Matthew born Dec. 18, 1984.
    My schooling was from the one-room school at Monroe Furnace.  I did house work for several people, worked at Alban's Grocery Store, and retired as a clerk from Spears Health Aids.
    I reside in Oak Hill where I enjoy reading, working puzzles, and raising a small garden.  Submitted by Dora WOODRUFF."

"Pauline DeLong, age 88 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Winchester Place, Canal Winchester, Ohio. She was born August 12, 1913 in Waverly, Ohio to the late James and Corda (Tripp) Woodruff. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Jackson. Survivors include a daughter, Carol (John) Callahan of Ashville, Ohio; grandsons, Blake and Brad Callahan of Cincinnati and granddaughter Michele Callahan of Columbus; sister, Helen Whitaker of Jackson; Brother Floyd Richard Woodruff of Ft. Wayne, Ind. She is preceded in death by her husband Hershel DeLong in 1996, five sisters and two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2002, at the Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Whitaker officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the funeral service, Friday, June 7, 2002. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery."
