Information from Biography:  Page 26.  "James OURS - was born in what is now Lewis County, West Virginia and was a son of Nichols and Nancy (CASTO) OURS, who passed their lives in Lewis County and are there buried.  In 1851 he came to Meigs County, Ohio and in this county, in the same year, he became the husband of Susan WOODRUFF.  The Rev. Isaac REYNOLDS of the Methodist Episcopal Church joined them in wedlock, September 13, 1851 and their five children were born on the following dates:  Samaria (LOVETTE), October 17, 1853; Charles W., June 19, 1856; Foster C., April 12, 1859; Marion F., February 9, 1862; Corwin E., August 12, 1865.  The eldest daughter makes the home of her married life in Mason County, West Virginia, Marion F. is deceased, and the remaining children live at home.  Susan, wife of James OURS, was born in New Jersey, July 7, 1823, a daughter of Moses and Sarah (TURNER) WOODRUFF.  Her father was born May 4, 1794 and died February 6, 1867 and her mother, who was born August 2, 1796, died May 4, 1876.  She has one sister, Charlotte WOODRUFF, who was born June 24, 1827 and a brother, Jackson, who was born August 3, 1832."
