  • TEWKSBURY FAMILY REUNION
    WINDHAVEN, North Wilmot, NH
    JULY 19 - 20, 2003
SATURDAY, JULY 19 - FELLOWSHIP DAY

It would be wonderful to have 51 people (in honor of our 51st anniversary) spend the weekend at Windhaven. Some ideas to pass the time would be a hike up Mt. Kearsarge with a picnic lunch at the top. At the homestead there are horseshoes, baseball, basketball, croquet, Frisbee golf and volleyball, a “piñata” for the little ones, a treasure hunt for the middle ones, and a scavenger hunt for the young teens. There are also puppet making supplies for a fun project (for the kids or kids at heart). Saturday night it might be fun to have a good old fashioned 50's picnic with burgers, hot dogs and potato salad. If enough of us dress the part (poodle skirts, loafers and tee shirts) maybe a prize will be awarded for the best 1950's look! As always there is swimming and a campfire to tell stories around (if permitted), but most importantly a day of family togetherness. Remember to bring food, pictures, stories and your “family cheat sheet” to share. For more information contact Doug Tewksbury at dtewks@dhmftfa.org or Francis Tewksbury at ftewks@totalnetnh.net.
