They had four children, one of whom was Cora. Ira died in Salsbury Prison Camp during the Civil War. Jane moved to Motley, Minnesota in 1883 to be with her only surviving child Cora and her husband Lenor (aka Leonard) Harry Townsend. She died in Motley Jan 24, 1894 at the age of 67.
