(A different Muster Roll taken June 1779, at Chillicothe, Ohio Territory did not include any of the McManus men highlighted above. A Samuel Moore was listed as killed on the June 1779 list.)

"After the Illinois Campaign with Clark, William Harrod spent the winter building a town at the Falls of the Ohio, present day Louisville. The following is the list of his company sent in by Mrs. John B. Mason, presumably taken from the rolls in the Draper Collection. The second list is William Harrod's Company at Chillicothe in June 1779, and from the same source."

Notes

There was a John McManus, Revolutionary War pensioner who resided in Indiana. In his pension papers it notes that he was originally from Westmoreland Co., PA.
